In the area north of Salem Oregon are several iris hybridizers. One way to satisfy your craving for this short-seasoned flower is to visit these gardens in the spring. Terry Strathman, our webmaster, made such a trip last month and has many photos to share, including a peek at Scheiner's famous gardens, a look at Keith Keppel's luminatas, and photos of early season intros and seedlings at Mid America Iris Gardens.
